About The Position
The College of Osteopathic Medicine at New York Institute of Technology seeks a Medical Assistant located in Central Islip. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for verifying patient information, preparing patients for examinations, performing phlebotomy procedures and EKGs, and ensuring that all test results are received prior to the patient's arrival. The role also involves maintaining patient confidentiality, managing medical records, and collaborating with practice physicians to ensure efficient documentation through the use of electronic medical records (EMR).
