Medical Assistant

About the position

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our family. Your job will be to provide welcoming care to our patients. Responsibilities

• Welcome patients as the first step in treatment prior to seeing the Doctor, NP, or PA.
• Determine the nature of the patient’s visit and obtain vitals.
• Provide thorough and concise chart documentation for clear necessary communication.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for both patients and staff.

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program, a minimum of 6 months in length, preferred.
• The ability to work with people from all walks of life and to meet them in their place of need.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
