About The Position
The Medical Assistant performs clinic support in both clinical and administrative areas under the direction of a licensed Nurse or Provider. In the clinical area, the assistant participates in the delivery of patient care, while in the administrative area, they gather patient information for registration, schedule appointments, verify demographic and financial information, and assist in facilitating patient flow throughout the ambulatory setting. This position is part-time in the OB-GYN Clinic.
