About The Position

Integrated Dermatology is a leading national Dermatology practice that acquires and partners with Dermatology practices across the United States. The culture at IDG is a reflection of its people. This position will require travel to both office locations, Enfield, CT & Simsbury, CT. Please do not apply if you are unable to work at both practice locations.

Requirements

• 1+ year Medical Assistant experience required
• Ability to multitask and self-manage
• Ability to manage EMR system on a tablet
• Ability to speak clearly to patients and staff
• Ability to work at both Enfield and Simsbury locations

Nice To Haves

• Dermatology office Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Medical Assistant certificate is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients
• Take dermatology history and chief complaint
• Scribe a dictated exam by the provider
• Set up biopsy trays
• Package and label specimens for shipment
• Clean, stock, and set up rooms between patients
• Clean and autoclave surgical instruments
• Call patients with biopsy results
• Answer phone messages and faxes for the provider
• Assist fellow team members in a busy clinic

Benefits

• Pay starts at $19.00 per hour and increases with years of experience
