About The Position

We're so looking forward to working with you that we're offering up to a $1,000 hiring bonus for full time Medical Assistants. The position is located at HV Chippewa Internal Medicine and primarily involves working during daylight hours, Monday through Friday. The role includes collecting vital signs and patient history, collecting specimens and performing basic laboratory tests, administering injections and medications as directed by the provider, in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating and maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals and authorizations, and scheduling appointments.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• CPR Certification
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
• Computer experience

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant diploma or degree program
• Minimum of one year medical assisting experience
• Proficient in venipuncture
