About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is currently hiring a Full-time Medical Assistant and offering a Sign-On Bonus up to 5K for qualified candidates. Position Status: Full-Time Days Position Location: Virginia Beach, VA Overview Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Active CMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of clinical or administrative experience (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
- Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
