About The Position
Medical Assistants will partner with the providers of Chicago ENT to ensure prompt, accurate, and compassionate patient care. Chicago ENT is seeking experienced MA candidates interested in growing their skills in this unique and comprehensive ENT care setting. This role will report to the MA Lead and be required to travel to other clinics.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Current CPR Certification required
- Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment
- Proof of vaccination or exemption
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
- Minimum of two years clinical experience
- Previous surgical experience
- Current Medical Assistant Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
Responsibilities
- Assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting.
- Maintaining patient flow, the upkeep of exam and treatment rooms, and performing basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing.
- Administer intramuscular injections, immunizations, and over-the-counter medications under the direction of a Physician.
- Be cross trained over time in all specialties and ancillary services including ENT, Sleep, Allergy, Cosmetic, CT, and Triage.
- Be available to work scheduled hours travel between all office locations where their assigned provider hosts clinic.
