About The Position
Baptist MD Anderson is currently hiring for a Medical Assistant to join our GYN Surgical Oncology team. This is a PRN opportunity. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Outpatient Oncology Job Responsibilities: Provides nursing assistance to physician Obtains vital signs Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit Responsible for telephone triage and patient education Maintains medical documentation Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician Processes CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals Cross trains in front office, referrals area, and other areas If you are interested in this PRN Days opportunity, please apply today!
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- 2 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
