Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only Practice Overview Our multi-disciplinary pulmonary team is committed to providing comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with many lung conditions. Our support staff is composed of registered nurses (RNs), medical assistants/ambulatory clinical technicians (MA/ACTs), respiratory therapists (RTs), and patient service representatives (PSRs). Each member of our team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and the delivery of high-quality care. MAs assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for their office visit, administering immunizations, collecting lab specimens and assisting in scheduling appointments. Time is also spent working through in basket work, chart prep, navigating incoming calls, & supporting our RN’s & RT’s. Candidates for this position should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. MAs play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and providing high-quality patient care. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
