About The Position

Konza Prairie Community Health Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role plays an essential part in maintaining efficient clinic operations while ensuring a positive and respectful patient experience.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday - Clinics close at 2:00 pm every Friday.

Full-time employees accrue up to 200 hours (5 weeks) of PTO annually, receive employer retirement contributions, and enjoy early Friday clinic closures — supporting a strong work-life balance.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Ability to travel between all Konza clinics.

Nice To Haves

• Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
• 1 year of experience in an FQHC setting.
• 1 year experience in a Primary Care setting.
• Bilingual (Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Obtain medical/social history, vital signs, and measurements; document accurately in the EMR
• Administer treatments, immunizations, and medications as directed
• Prepare and process specimens; perform lab tests and run controls
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize instruments
• Conduct pre-visit planning and support patient flow and discharge
• Uphold patient confidentiality, rights, and dignity
• Travel between Konza clinic locations as needed
