Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant experience in a clinical setting
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within three months of hire)
- Experience with EHR systems (NextGen preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient interviews, obtain vitals, and document accurate medical history in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Assist physicians during exams, procedures, and surgeries by scribing and managing patient records
- Prepare patients for treatments, including removing sutures and dressings and administering injections
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers for lab work, physical therapy, and diagnostic studies
- Maintain a clean and fully stocked environment in exam rooms and assist with minor office procedures
