About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Assistant to provide both front and back office support in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring efficient daily operations within the clinic.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included) — required
• Medical Assistant Certification — strongly preferred
• Occupational Health experience — highly preferred
• Proficient in phlebotomy/venipuncture, EMR systems, scheduling, vitals, EKG, and POC testing
• BLS or CPR certification — required
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and computer proficiency

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant Certification
• Occupational Health experience

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations
• Obtain and document vitals, perform venipuncture, draw blood, and administer vaccines
• Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
• Assist with scheduling, answering phones, and managing EMR documentation
• Support healthcare providers with clinical procedures as needed
• Maintain strong collaboration with clinical and administrative staff
• Contribute to health education, outreach, and patient experience initiatives
