Medical Assistant – Pain Management Southwoods Pain and Spine Center Boardman, OH Join Our Team Southwoods Health is seeking a professional and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Pain and Spine Center team in Boardman, Ohio. Essential Duties Patient Care: Room patients in a timely manner, obtain vital signs, and record patient history, medications, and allergies in the EMR system. Administrative Support: Manage incoming calls, provide information to patients, and maintain accurate medical records. Clinical Coordination: Efficiently schedule patient appointments, procedures, and surgeries within the Pain and Spine Center. Team Collaboration: Partner with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality, comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program with a diploma.
Active certification through one of the following: RMA (American Medical Technologists) CMA (American Association of Medical Assistants) CCMA (National Healthcareer Association)
Minimum of one (1) year of direct work experience as a Medical Assistant.
Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
