About The Position

Under clinical supervision, assists in the delivery of patient care and treatment according to policies and procedures and Logan Health (LH) MAU/UAP (Unlicensed Assistive Personnel) scope of practice. Provides administrative support and works collaboratively with Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, RNs, LPNs and other department staff to meet the physical, psychosocial, education and spiritual needs of the patient and family. We are seeking a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic primary care team. Requirements

  • Current RMA or CMA credential recognized in the State of Montana (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain accuracy in a busy setting.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-focused care.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior clinic or outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and prepare patients for exams, procedures, and provider visits.
  • Obtain and accurately document vital signs, health histories, and medication information.
  • Assist providers with in-office procedures, immunizations, and point-of-care testing.
  • Perform specimen collection, labeling, processing, and documentation according to established protocols.
  • Support care coordination, follow-up communication, and patient education as directed.
  • Manage in-basket messages, medication refills, and provider communications.
  • Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in compliance with infection control and safety standards.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic environment through collaboration and clear communication.
