About the Role As a Medical Assistant in our Department of Orthopedics, you will make a meaningful impact on every patient who walks through our doors. Our Medical Assistants are essential contributors to a safe, clean, and welcoming care environment. In this role, you will: Provide patient‑focused, compassionate care that enhances the overall patient experience. Assist with preparing patients for treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs. Perform phlebotomy, as well as collect and prepare laboratory specimens. Support busy clinical operations with energy, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Demonstrate teamwork and a commitment to raising the bar for patient care every day. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program
  • Strong phlebotomy skills
  • All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
  • NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses
