Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience with EMR preferred.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for initial patient intake including checking vital signs, establishing reason for visit, and ensuring patient information/notes are accurate.
• Working with insurance companies obtaining referrals, prior authorizations, etc.
• Assisting with medical treatments and procedures as needed
• Following up with patients on test results, post procedure instructions, etc.
• Ordering and managing office/clinical supplies.
