About The Position

What You'll Do: In this dynamic role, you'll be an essential part of both the clinical and surgical patient experience. Responsibilities include: Welcoming, triaging, and rooming patients Keeping clinic flow running smoothly and efficiently Accurately documenting patient information in the EMR Supporting patients through pre- and post-operative care Maintaining sterile technique and assisting during procedures Preparing and turning over procedure rooms Coordinating surgical scheduling Obtaining prior authorizations Assisting with additional tasks to support the team What We're Looking For: At least 1 year of medical experience Strong computer and EMR skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive, team-oriented attitude A friendly, professional presence with patients and colleagues Experience in ophthalmology or plastic surgery is a plus—but not required Schedule: Monday (Williamsburg): 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday & Thursday: 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Why You'll Love Working Here: Competitive pay: $18–$24/hour (based on experience) Excellent benefits package No weekends—enjoy your work-life balance Opportunity to learn a specialized, in-demand field Supportive team environment with room to grow If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact while building a rewarding career in a specialized surgical practice, we'd love to hear from you!

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of medical experience
  • Strong computer and EMR skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ophthalmology or plastic surgery is a plus—but not required
