Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Medical Assistant Training from an Accredited School
  • Certification from NHA or AAMA or completed within 6 months of hire date
  • CPR Certification required and maintained
  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Involves standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasionally requires lifting and carrying items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Requires normal or corrected visual acuity and hearing.
  • Requires exposure to bodily fluids.
  • Ability to understand and effectively work in Microsoft Outlook, practice management systems, and electronic medical record system.
