As a Medical Assistant, you'll be vital in delivering compassionate care to our youngest patients under the supervision of our skilled providers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • High School Diploma and Associate Degree in Medical Assisting or Certification in Medical Assisting.
  • CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant (e.g., CMA, RMA)
  • Strong knowledge and experience as Medical Assistant
  • Proficiency in EMR software preferred but must be willing to learn.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a positive environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Attention to detail in all tasks
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Celebration, FL before starting work

  • Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, reliability, previous medical experience, and a caring and positive attitude.
  • Previous medical office experience and knowledge of electronic medical records are preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and record patient vitals including height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse
  • Assist /Administer immunizations and injections
  • Assist with medical procedures
  • Perform routine clinic screenings and testing
  • Interview patients to gather medical history and record vital statistics and test results
  • Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
  • Check patients in and out of the clinic and schedule follow-up appointments
  • Accurately record vital signs in EMR software
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support clinic operations and patient care
