About The Position

The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Typically work on semi-routine assignments. You will report to the Center Administrator onsite at the Sun City clinic. Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at: 14813 N Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351. Now offering a $2,000 Bonus for Medical Assistants who join our new Primary Care Clinics in Phoenix in 2026. The Medical Assistant discusses symptoms, obtains vital signs, administers medications and vaccines, performs phlebotomy, collects specimens, conducts screening tests, sterilizes equipment, maintains exam rooms, documents in electronic records, and collaborates with providers within certification limits. Requirements

  • Complete a MA school/training program or be a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or have 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR Certified
  • Be patient facing
  • Screen for TB (if selected for this role)

Nice To Haves

  • Certified or Registered (required in Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina)
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Medication/vaccine administration experience
  • 1+ years MA experience
  • Value-based care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
  • Bilingual proficient in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communication
