Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant certification (preferred)
- Experience in behavioral health or primary care settings a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, person-centered care
Responsibilities
- Assist nurses with health screenings, assessments, and vitals
- Support coordination of physical and behavioral health services
- Provide client education on wellness, medications, and symptom management
- Support outreach, engagement, and follow-up services
- Respond to on-call needs as required
- Coordinate labs, refills, and prior authorizations
- Assist with medication administration, including injections (as appropriate)
- Support medication room organization, compliance, and inventory
- Communicate assessment findings to nursing staff and prescribers
- Participate in a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Maintain timely, accurate, person-centered documentation
- Support quality improvement and ongoing professional development
