About The Position

The Spine Team Texas Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians and medical staff in the Clinic. It is imperative for this position to assist in ensuring appropriate and timely patient flow. This position is also required to schedule procedures for patients to ensure that the clinic flow is smooth. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Spine Team Texas. This position also must comply with all HIPAA regulations at all times. If Medical Assistant is also an NCT, they will be responsible for x-rays (within the scope of their certification) to be taken as needed.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent.
Medical Assistant Certification or Nursing license preferred; or equivalent experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management
Excellent organizational ability.
Possess the ability to plan and execute work projects.
Possess the ability to work productively, either independently or with other individuals.
Proficient in communicating in the English language both written and verbally.

Nursing license

Responsibilities

providing timely and efficient support to all medical staff and patients within the clinic
maintenance and supplies of clinic rooms, pods, and medicines
Outstanding customer service via phone and in person
provide patient care in the form of vital signs, explanation of prescriptions and general visit, and escorting the patient to appropriate areas of the clinic
provide accurate, and appropriate information to authorized individuals in a timely and efficient manner
Other duties and responsibilities may be required by the Spine Team Texas Director of Compliance, or a member of the Medical Staff
