Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is highly desirable
• Proven experience in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
• Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist healthcare providers during exams and minor procedures
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Collect laboratory specimens and prepare them for testing
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Schedule appointments and manage patient correspondence
• Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and exam rooms
• Adhere to all safety, privacy, and compliance regulations
