Medical Assistant
About The Position
MyHealth Urgent Care is looking to hire a Part-Time Medical Assistant for our Clinton Twp (Lakeside) location. Duties include but are not limited to greeting and registering patients, answering phones, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays. Rooming the patient, vitals, testing, preparing specimens, EKG, x-ray, blood draw, injections. The Medical Assistant assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the provider. All other duties as assigned. The weekly schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts and rotating weekend/holiday availability. Competitive pay and benefits.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant: 2 years (Required)
- Vital signs: 2 years (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
- Ability to commute/relocate: Clinton Twp, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
