About The Position

As a Medical Assistant on our team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both patients and providers in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment. Our specialists use advanced diagnostics, therapies, and minimally invasive procedures to deliver personalized care, and we take pride in creating a workplace where compassion and clinical excellence go hand in hand. In this role, you’ll provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. You’ll work closely with providers and patients to support smooth daily operations, maintain efficient workflows, and contribute to positive patient outcomes through attentive, compassionate care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of clerical procedures, recordkeeping, and filing systems
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and office ethics
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results
  • Prepare treatment and exam rooms for clinical examinations
  • Assist practitioners with medical procedures and patient care
  • Administer medications under physician supervision
  • Assist with patient transfers pre- and post-procedure
  • Deliver compassionate support to patients and families
  • Receive and direct phone calls
  • Schedule appointments and check in patients
  • Collect and update patient information, ensuring all forms and consents are completed
  • Prepare equipment and clean instruments
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and stock exam rooms appropriately
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Complete all required annual training by assigned deadlines
