About The Position

-Cultivates a safe, secure, and healthy environment for patients and colleagues, and enhance the quality of service and care provided -Understands the provider-to-patient flow to better assist physicians and the medical assistant team in maintaining an efficient, productive office -Helps answer patient questions and address their concerns before, during, and after treatment -Updates and maintains electronic patient medical records accurately and securely -Prepares treatment rooms with necessary injectables and supplies prior to each appointment -Directly assists providers during treatments -Ensures all lasers and devices are operating and prepped for all treatments -Accompanies patients to treatment rooms, discusses treatment and medical history to ensure all is documented in EHR -Prepares patients for treatment; includes blood draws, numbing, cleaning, photos, and consents -Maintains accurate EHR patient records for clinical use, billing, and physician review -Keeps medical supplies well stocked -Responds to all patient calls, pharmacy refills, am prior authorizations -Takes an active role in patient experience and satisfaction

Requirements

  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AT BOTH REFLECTIONS LOCATIONS AS NEEDED - MARTINSVILLE & LIVINGSTON NJ
  • WORKING HOURS INCLUDE BOTH DAYTIME (ex. 9am-5pm) AND EVENING SHIFTS (ex. 11am-7pm) , ALL STAFF IS REQUIRED TO WORK 1-2 SATURDAYS PER MONTH
  • One or more years of experience as a medical assistant at a healthcare facility
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of patient management software systems
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • High levels of professionalism and dedication to patient-centered care
