The Lake Hazel Family Medicine Clinic is now hiring for a team-oriented and efficient Medical Assistant! Position Summary & Highlights: This position will support a provider 2 days/week and also work in the in-clinic lab completing lab draws and nurse visits and supporting and covering other MAs in the clinic. This clinic offers family medicine to patients seeking help managing their wellness and chronic medical conditions. The clinic is surrounded by an underserved residential area that continues to experience growth and development of new housing. The Lake Hazel clinic has procedure rooms, lab and digital X-Ray services on site, in addition to a fully staffed Urgent Care facility open every day 8am – 8pm. What You Will Do: In the lab, you will complete blood draws, POC testing, UAs, and other related tests. In supporting the provider you will room patients, collect vital signs, medication review, administer immunizations/vaccines, complete child well visits, and assist with minor procedures and also complete chart prep, tasks and orders in the task inbox. You may help cover for lunches and sick calls. An ideal candidate will have a friendly and positive attitude, is a team player, has excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, strong communication skills, truly enjoys providing great patient care and likes to have fun. Work Schedule: 40 hours/week - Mondays - Fridays, around the hours of 7:30am – 4:00pm. This will mostly be a set schedule, but flexibility will be needed at times based on patient scheduling. Location: 10583 W. Lake Hazel Road, Boise, ID 83709, located on the corner of Lake Hazel and Five Mile Roads. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire
• MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) American Medical Technologists (RMA) National Healthcareer Association (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA) National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA) American Medical Certification Association (CMAC) National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE MA)
• MA certificate of completion required from an accredited program or school
• Completion of either a 100-hour MA externship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of the externship hours even with MA certification
• 1 Year of MA experience OR Current MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listed above
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
• Obtaining the MA certification typically requires completing an MA Program or working as a Medical Assistant for at least 1 year
• EMT and CNA certifications will not count towards an MA certification
