About The Position

Key Responsibilities Patient Prep: Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and summarizing their medical history for the doctor. Spanish Fluency: Communicate clearly in Spanish to gather medical histories and explain physician instructions to families. Clinical Support: Set up clean, organized treatment rooms and assist the medical team as needed. Administrative Tasks: Handle phone calls, manage patient forms, and assist with scheduling, records, and billing. Office Operations: Track medical supplies and perform basic maintenance on equipment to keep the office running smoothly. Compliance: Follow all healthcare laws and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA. Compassionate Care: Provide kind and helpful support to all patients and families throughout their visit.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with medical terms, clinical procedures, and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems.
  • Strong speaking skills and the ability to build a good rapport with families.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • Proven ability to handle private medical information with total discretion.
  • A dedicated team player who consistently meets goals and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
