WORK SCHEDULE Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. Schedule may change based on office needs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with treatments ordered by the provider, under supervision by a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations. Perform basic clerical duties, including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing. Manage materials by ordering and stocking supplies. Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Perform other duties as assigned, including floating to cover another facility as needed. DAILY DUTIES Room patients and perform all patient-facing care. Conduct registration or triage as needed. Engage in patient outreach by phone. WORK ARRANGEMENT This role will be primarily onsite with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement in the future. KEY SKILLS REQUIRED Strong communication skills. Proficiency in patient-facing care (vital signs, rooming, point of care testing). Detail-oriented. Ability to function independently and as part of a team. Ability to think globally and assist others when assignments are completed. Ability to follow directions for best practices. Job Summary: Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse or physician. Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.

  • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
  • Wisconsin ONLY - High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience , and graduate from a medical assistant school or training program or education equivalency for certification
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
