Certified Medical Assistants are important members of the Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center (RCCHC) Care Teams. Medical Assistants are responsible for delivering excellent, high-touch, primary care, and coordinating a patient centered care experience. The Medical Assistant role requires high levels of flexibility, energy, attention to detail, and problem-solving. Medical Assistants will work closely and collaboratively with their teammates to greet and room RCCHC patients. S/he will be expected to assist in assessing patient's health conditions, including performing routine diagnostic testing during appointments. The Certified Medical Assistant must be able to maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of RCCHC personnel and patients.
