Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Gundersen Health System's mission is simple: provide Love + Medicine to every single patient that walks through our doors. In our Sleep Clinic, Medical Assistants play a vital role in supporting patient care through a blend of administrative and patient‑facing responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and helping patients navigate their appointments. What is available: 1.0 FTE, 80 hours/bi-weekly Monday through Friday, Days No weekends/holidays! This position requires working with in person appointments as well as virtual appointments

Requirements

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN Or High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
• BLS for healthcare workers

Responsibilities

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments
• Welcome patients and set a positive tone for their visit
• Update patient information in charting systems
• Take vitals
• Handle inbox messages, refills, and patient follow‑up communication
• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys
