This Medical Assistant role, within Med Spec Clinical Staff, supports the licensed healthcare team in Vanderbilt Nephrology in Shelbyville. The position involves performing office examinations and procedures, managing clinic patient flow, gathering and documenting patient screening data, and assisting with patient and family education and communication. Vanderbilt's nephrology and hypertension experts specialize in caring for a wide range of kidney conditions, including genetic diseases, rare conditions, and complex medical challenges like kidney disease with multiple organ failure, offering customized care including kidney transplant preparation. Requirements

  • Has limited experience or training working with clinical applications for patient documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and documents patient screening data for the healthcare team.
