About The Position

Multi-physician family practice clinic in Yukon is seeking a full time Medical Assistant

Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required
• At least 2 years experience preferred
• Must be detailed oriented
• Good phone etiquette, customer service and time management skills required
• Experience in a family practice clinic preferred but not required
• High School graduate or equivalent required (GED)

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant Certification
• 2 years experience
• Experience in a family practice clinic

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, take vitals and record patient health history
• Prepare charts, assist physician with medical procedures and exams
• Administer injections and immunizations, triage patient calls for medication refills and provide test results
• Keep exam rooms clean and equipped with appropriate supplies
• Other duties as assigned
