Position Location: Chandler - Dobson and Chandler Blvd Travel : Weekly travel is required to Sun Lakes and Casa Grande. There is a mileage reimbursement when travelling to Casa Grande Schedule: (4x10s) or (3x10s and 2x5s) - 40 hours, all shifts M-F between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour TCC PERKS!!! Medical Benefit as low as $30.89/per pay-period Benefits begin first of the month following hire POSITION SUMMARY This position assists physicians with patient care in a medical office setting through the performance of all Medical Assistant activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Medical Assistant diploma.
- Current BLS certification (must be obtained in 90 days if not current)
- All employees must be able to provide proof of their identity and their right to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Previous MA experience preferred.
- Cardiac experience preferred.
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Verifies accurate chart prep before patient visit.
- Follows established MA rooming protocol and follows all other clinical protocols based on patient diagnosis or procedure (e.g. TAVR)
- Accurately updates and records patient medications, allergies, pharmacies, risk factors, social history and family history in patient chart upon each visit.
- Obtains vital signs, EKG’s and rhythm strips as needed.
- Stock, clean and maintains supply inventory in exam rooms and primary work areas.
- Cross Train for additional diagnostic testing as needed
