Our mission is to make compassionate, efficient care accessible beyond traditional clinical settings. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our mobile care team. This role is essential in supporting healthcare providers during patient visits by ensuring accurate documentation and assisting with clinical procedures. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in varied environments and committed to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification or proven experience in blood draw procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Excellent interpersonal and communication
Responsibilities
- Document patient encounters in real-time using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical documentation to support provider efficiency
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples for diagnostic testing
- Label and prepare specimens for safe and timely transport to laboratories
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and facility staff
- Travel to patient locations within Livingston and surrounding areas
