This position will primary be supporting Wentworth Health Partners Prompt Care- Prompt Care offers same day care for patients who have a primary care physician in the Wentworth Health Partners network. Prompt Care is staffed by board certified Wentworth Health Partners providers. Minor illnesses and injuries are treated and appointments are required for same day care. We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Medical Assistant supports a fast-paced prompt care practice providing same-day primary care services to established patients. The role requires schedule flexibility to accommodate extended hours, including shifts between : - Monday through Thursday from 7:30am–7:00pm - Fridays from 8:00am–5:00pm - Rotating Saturdays (one to two per month) from 7:30am–2:00pm - Coverage for 6 of 10 company holidays The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, efficiently rooming patients, supporting rapid patient flow, and assisting providers with timely communication and test processing. Working within a small, collaborative, and tight-knit team, the Medical Assistant must demonstrate adaptability and strong customer service skills to succeed in the role. Job Summary Summary The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.
