The Medical Assistant (MA) will be responsible for the coordination of direct patient care activities and providing clinical support to providers within one of Baptist Health's clinical practices, specifically BHMG Urgent Care Ring Rd. This full-time role involves checking in patients, obtaining vital signs, performing medication reconciliation, and gathering patient medical history information. The MA will navigate the electronic health record system (EPIC) and communicate with pharmacies, insurance companies, patients, and physicians, while upholding Baptist’s mission and core values that drive service excellence.
