About The Position
Boulder Valley Center for Dermatology is seeking a motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our dynamic and patient-focused dermatology practice. This role offers the opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge and work closely with a collaborative team of physicians and physician assistants. While dermatology experience is preferred, it is not required. We are looking for candidates with a strong clinical background who are eager to learn and grow in the dermatology field. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Strong customer service skills and patient-centered mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Nice To Haves
- Dermatology experience preferred but not required
- Medical Assistant certification not required
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and rooming procedures
- Scribe provider visits and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist providers during medical visits and dermatologic procedures
- Assist with surgical procedures as needed
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses and treatments
- Schedule follow-up appointments and procedures
- Support efficient clinic workflow and patient care coordination
