About The Position

Responsibilities/Requirements: Perform general nursing duties in a busy orthopedic practice Escribe/call in medications Draw up injections and prepare patients in sterile fashion Assist other team providers as needed Schedule test, imaging, labs as needed Obtain any necessary insurance authorizations for procedures or tests Locate any necessary test results, and/or reports Assist with filling out forms as needed for return to work etc. Prepare for next clinic by printing notes and checking for needed test results Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies for clinic, power up computers, etc. Schedule depositions and meetings as needed Assist other team members as needed Obtain signature on miscellaneous forms as needed Travel to satellite locations as required Friendly and Professional patient communication while: Answering and returning patient phone calls Procedure education Escorting patients to and from exam rooms Appointment reminder calls as needed Responding to and chart patient messages Communicating test results to patients Must also possess: Previous medical experience in a physician clinic setting preferred Orthopedic experience is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in very busy clinical setting Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills Independent and highly motivated Exhibit initiative and self-discipline Proven positive, “teamwork” attitude and work history Physical Demands: Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully Constant standing and walking for long periods of time Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas Consistently work at a productive pace Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes To apply please visit: https://www.visittoc.com/about-us/careers/

Requirements

  • Previous medical experience in a physician clinic setting preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in very busy clinical setting
  • Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
  • Independent and highly motivated
  • Exhibit initiative and self-discipline
  • Proven positive, “teamwork” attitude and work history
  • Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
  • Constant standing and walking for long periods of time
