About The Position

This is a full-time, benefitted position for an Medical Assistant at our Centreville, Virginia Center. The hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4 PM. Who You Are: As a Medical Assistant, you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where teamwork and patient care are paramount. Your ability to communicate effectively with both patients and FRC staff, paired with your genuine empathy and compassion, ensures that every patient feels supported and understood during their visit. What You’ll Do: Support Patient Care : You'll assist technologists and physicians with various procedures, ensuring that each patient's experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible. This may include initiating IVs. Prepare Patients : You'll play a key role in getting patients ready for their procedures, providing clear and compassionate communication before and after their appointments. Emergency Response : You'll be a part of the emergency response team, ensuring patient safety and essential immediate care is provided. Maintain Standards : You'll ensure that all supplies are well-stocked and department is correctly sanitized. Compliance and Safety : You'll adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and other state and federal regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • High school diploma
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Diploma
  • Proficiency in IV placement
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider/AED

Responsibilities
