About The Position

Medical Assistant- Part time Corvallis OR - Part time Pay: $17.50–$20.00/hour At Black Stone Health, you'll be part of a collaborative team that includes a physiatrist - a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation - providing comprehensive consultation and outpatient management for patients with diverse rehabilitation needs. Our clinic focuses on sports, spine, and other musculoskeletal conditions. As a Medical Assistant, you will play an important role in improving the lives of patients suffering from pain through high-quality medical evaluation, treatment, and management strategies characterized by excellence in patient service. This position is part time based in our Corvallis clinic, with the option of increasing to a full-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in the clinical setting
• Data entry
• Scribing
• Obtaining prior authorizations for medications and procedures
• Patient insurance verification
• Triaging patient calls and concerns
• Assisting with interventional procedures
