About The Position

We are conducting a confidential search for a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy internal medicine practice in San Diego. This role is essential in providing high -quality patient care and supporting medical staff with both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant credential (CMA, RMA, or similar).
• MediClear Certification (or equivalent) required.
• Prior experience in a medical or clinical setting required.
• Strong background in patient care and medical procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast -paced practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, record vital signs, and assist with examinations.
• Conduct EKGs, administer injections, and perform blood draws.
• Handle phone triage and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Manage front office duties including patient check -in and check -out.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect payments.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Support physicians and nurses in delivering efficient healthcare services.
