As a Medical Assistant, you will assist our providers with patient visits so they can always be a step ahead in assessing and determining patient treatment plans.

Requirements

• This position will require standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Any lifting should be limited to 40 pounds or less.
• You will need manual dexterity, proper hand-eye coordination, full range of motion to possibly assist with lifting patients, and corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Your current BLS certification will be required upon hire as well.
• Entry level medical assistants are required to have around 0-3 years of experience; a senior level medical assistant will have 5 or more years of experience.

Nice To Haves

• A medical assisting certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to their exam room.
• Accurately record patient information and recognize any significant details that will need to be shared with the provider.
• Communicate respectfully and thoroughly listen to any shared details in conversations with patients, coworkers and other professionals.
• Obtain patient records, test results, etc. while following all applicable HIPAA guidelines.
• Schedule and complete patient forms.
• Assist with any additional tasks.
