About The Position

We are seeking a dependable warm and caring Medical Assistant MA to join our new orthopedic office The ideal candidate is detail-oriented patient focused and thrives in a fast paced clinical environment This role is essential to deliver high quality orthopedic care and ensuring a positive patient experience

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable professional and patient centered
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinical experience preferred orthopedic experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Room patients obtain vital signs and document medical history
• Assist providers with orthopedic exams and procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clean organized clinical spaces
• Perform injections splinting assistance and dressing changes as trained
• Coordinate imaging referrals and follow up appointments
• Accurately document in the electronic medical record EMR
• Provide compassionate respectful patient care at all times
• Support clinic workflow and collaborate with the orthopedic care team
