Requirements
- Medical Assistant school
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with psychiatric patients in a respectful and professional manner
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- PA State Criminal Clearance, FBI Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and Mandated Report Training
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care in a psychiatric outpatient setting
- Take vital signs and document patient information accurately
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Handle basic administrative tasks, including updating electronic health records
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
