Peachtree Immediate Care, Gia's leading urgent care provider, is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at the Lithonia location. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed as an LPN or EMT.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required).
- Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations.
- Strong attention to detail,munication skills, and ability to work in a team.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities.
- Basicputer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities
- Assist medical providers with patient care, exams, and minor procedures.
- Perform vital signs, document patient information, and ensure accurate medical records.
- Conduct lab tests, administer medications, and perform wound care as directed.
- Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment in a clean, safe condition.
- Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging w applicable.
- Ensure high levels of patientfort, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a healthy environment.
