Provides direct support to providers in delivering care and treatment to patients. Prepares and rooms patients for examination, treatment, and procedures. Maintains exam rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment. Serves as a Patient Service Representative at the front desk, performing administrative functions such as check-in, check-out, copay collections, scheduling, and more. Strategizes within care team to effectively manage patient’s care. Engages and supports patients to ensure they feel heard, respected, and involved in their care. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Evidence of Medical Assistant training including all the essential job functions, knowledge, skills, and abilities listed here in this job description, or MA Certification or CNA experience strongly preferred. Will have up to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Will have up to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute.
Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire.
