About The Position
Fast -paced urgent care clinic seeking a reliable Medical Assistant to run intake, phlebotomy/EKG, point -of -care testing, EMR charting, and support patient flow.
Requirements
- MediClear (or equivalent) certification — required.
- Phlebotomy and EKG experience in clinic/urgent care.
- Proficient with EMR documentation; strong communication and multitasking.
- Able to pass background/employment verification.
Responsibilities
- Take vitals, patient histories, and room patients; document in EMR.
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, point -of -care testing, and specimen collection.
- Prep rooms, assist providers with basic procedures, and manage supplies.
- Verify insurance, collect payments, and support front/back office patient flow.
- Accurately document follow -ups, referrals, and test results.
