About The Position

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Working closely with physicians and nursing staff, you’ll support clinical operations through patient assessments, scribing, procedures, and education—making a real impact every single day.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant with EMR and scribing
A team-first mindset and strong communication skills
Ability to work well with providers and colleagues at all levels
Excellent attention to detail and reliability
Strong computer skills and comfort with EMR systems
Ability to follow OSHA safety and privacy guidelines
At least 1 year of recent medical office experience
Current BLS certification

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of dermatology experience
Experience using EMA software
Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

Room and prepare patients for exams and scribe during visits as directed
Obtain and document patient histories and clinical information
Accurately document chief complaints, exams, assessments, prescriptions, and test results using EMA software
Administer numbing agents and assist with biopsy and surgical procedures
Relay prescription information to pharmacies via phone, fax, or e-prescribing
Input MIPS questions to support division and corporate goals
Communicate pathology and lab results to patients
Triage patient calls and provide physician-guided clinical advice
Schedule procedures and coordinate prior authorizations and referrals
Promote wellness through patient education and clear communication
