About The Position

The Entry-Level Medical Assistant supports providers by assisting with patient care activities, clinical documentation, and care coordination in an outpatient pain management clinic. This position is designed for candidates with little to no prior experience and includes structured on-the-job training and mentoring.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer and typing skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to multitask in a clinical environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare exposure or coursework (not required)

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures
• Accurately complete EMR documentation and charting
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies/equipment are stocked
• Communicate with patients regarding care plans and follow-up instructions
• Coordinate with pharmacies and outside facilities
• Support front and back office operations as needed
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance at all times
